after being in the hospital so many times, i am terrified of needles ...and the impending intravenous fluid or blood draw.

my two cats are my children.

i've been married for two years, and my husband is my miracle of life.

i have struggled with an eating disorder for 14 years, and have been hospitalised too many times. it's time to live!

i danced for 12+ years and miss it to this day.

i speak two languages: english and french.

i sleep far too much for the average person.

i have an unhealthy obsession for all things hello kitty.

i study dietetics and psychology. i hope to someday work with eating disordered adolescents.

yes, i smoke. yes, it's a nasty habit.

some of my best friends are people i've never met in person who live on the opposite side of the world.

i only found christ and accepted him into my heart within the last year.

as a child, i participated in and won many academic competitions. i have been in a hmong magasine, as well as having the honour of attending a women's league of voters luncheon to acknowledge the history project i researched. and that's just a couple examples.

i actually love my in-laws.

i am a grammar and spelling "nazi," despite using british spellings since i was 12 years old.

i'm a little too good at debating.

i'm lily: 22 years old and live in california.

my husband and i have been sky-diving. yes, it was insane.

i have one sibling who is a musician, songwriter, singer, and producer.

i have seen the light at the end of the tunnel before nearly dying from seizures. it was so peaceful.

i played the piano, clarinet, and guitar for the vast majority of my life.

i have lived in france, belarus, and russia. but no, i don't speak russian.

i like classy but different style, and wish i could wear high heels more often.

i do not wear makeup ...ever.

i love to read, though have very little focus. i rarely watch movies either.

i didn't like coffee until i worked at starbucks for 2.5 years.

i live life in front of a computer screen.

i'm addicted to fruit.

i love ethiopian food, as well as the kind-hearted ethiopian people i've met.

i can be rather creative when i want to be.

i love music. oh yes, i do.

i love windchimes. they make me feel calm.
